
ONS figures show July’s growth in private rental prices continued its slowdown, with London seeing a negative decrease yet again.
The Uk’s overall growth rose slightly by 0.9%, although 1.0% less than June’s figures.
Excluding London, the UK saw a rental price increase of 1.5% in the 12 months to July 2018, down from 1.6% in June 2018.
Regionally, the largest annual rental price increase was in the East Midlands at 2.7%, slightly down from 2.8% in June 2018.
