Is August a good month for estate agency start-ups?
It may well prove to be for new business Waymark Residential.
Although hardly new kids on the block, this husband and wife team of RICS chartered surveyors aim to bring the Vale of White Horse a new kind of residential sales service.
As a new arm of their well-established commercial property business Edward Preece & Co., it’s fair to say, this duo have plenty of experience in the property market place.
Vale residents, Ed and Jenny Preece spotted a shortfall in residential property services in the area and aim to work closely alongside Edward Preece & Co., to provide a complete property service for both residential and commercial clients across the region.
When you speak to Ed and Jenny, it’s very clear how passionate they are about the Vale of White Horse. Jenny grew up in the area and is active in many local activities. She’s the one with the green fingers out of the pair and is keen on helping vendors find ways to present their properties at their best.
Although born in Cornwall, Ed has spent much of his adult life in the area and has thrown himself into Vale life. He is one of the organisers of the famous White Horse Show which attracts thousands of visitors and is keen on promoting this untapped south west corner of Oxfordshire’s potential.
Launching today, 3rd August may have been a great move by this savvy pair. They’ve already got their summer holidays out of the way and can now spend the rest of the summer marketing and getting their message across to vendors in time for the September pre-Christmas rush.
We wish them all the very best of luck with their new business.
